Baked-In Memories, Rolled-Out Joy
Some of my sweetest memories were made in the kitchen—baking with my mom and grandma, swapping stories between batches of cookies. After moving from Florida and knowing barely anyone, I went back to those roots as a way to pass the time. If you were around me, you were likely getting something homemade. iykyk.
I built my first cart by hand—wood, wheels, and a dream to create something that felt like home. When dreaming up ways to put that cart to work, I landed on something sweeter than I ever imagined: freshly baked cookies and hand-churned, locally sourced ice cream.
I’ve always cared about the good stuff—locally grown food, home-cooked meals, and things made by hand. That mindset helped shape a whole fleet of carts: collapsible bars, refurbished wagons, and of course, the Cookie Cruiser.
We started testing cookie recipes using the freshest ingredients we could find. All that was left? Ice cream as good as we remembered from childhood—like the kind scooped straight from a churning bucket.
Minnesota Dairy Lab mastered that magic. Their handcrafted ice cream is rich, creamy, and nostalgic in all the right ways. Sandwiching it between two fresh cookies? It just makes sense.
